Our Motivation

Incorporating the values of rugby to change the face of mens’ health. Now featuring the Medway Crusaders Cancer Lads and our focus and inspiration this year as we currently have two lads battling testicular cancer and another two battling prostate cancer, which has really brought home how seriously we need to take these issues. In addition, there are a number of men within the club that have had (and thankfully beaten) prostate cancer or had serious mental health issues.

Look out this year for a Medway Crusaders Movember Calendar and we will also be walking 84 laps (approx 25km) of our home pitch on Sunday 23rd November in support of our Cancer Lads and to raise funds and awareness for Movember and the issues it supports.

Why 84 you say??,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Well the 8 is for the 1 in 8 men that will get prostate cancer and the 4 is for our 4 brave Cancer Lads in the mighty Medway Crusaders Squad.
