Throughout this year, we’ve been incredibly proud to be the Official Charity Partner of QIPCO British Champions Series. The culmination of the series, QIPCO British Champions Day, which this year took place on October 19th, not only delivered a day of the highest quality racing, it gave us an opportunity to roll the ManVan into town for a day of hair-raising Mo-activity, and some cuts and conversations in the barber chair.

Thanks to some dedicated Movember Ambassadors, we were able to spread the word to some thirty thousand horseracing fans, many of whom went home with a fresh trim, and a renewed passion for men’s health. In amongst seeing Frankie Dettori romp home to victory on Star Catcher, getting to watch Stradivarius strut his stuff and a gig from Basement Jaxx, race goers popped over to the ManVan for a chat about men’s health, a free haircut and for a chance to win exclusive prizes, courtesy of our friends at Gillette. The day also saw Oisin Murphy crowned Champion Jockey for the first time. Earlier this year, Oisin became one of the faces of our Testicular Cancer Awareness Month campaign, when he starred in a video reminding guys up and down the country about the importance of checking their nuts. Oisin Murphy. Champion Jockey, Champion Mo Bro. What a guy.
