My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

is to change the face of men's health. My father had prostate cancer but fortunately managed to beat it as it was diagnosed early. Thousands of men die each year from this disease and therefore we need to raise awareness!! Over the last couple of years, I've lost my Mum-in-law and a couple of good friends to cancer and therefore I dedicate this year's efforts to those that are sadly no longer with us.

I’m now sad to say I lost my father in March last year to cancer and it sucks. He was my mate, my mentor, my hero, but above all, my dad.

I also dedicate this year’s efforts to my uncle Bob, my uncle Peter, who are both fighting their own battles with Cancer

I'm also sad to say that an old friend , Paul Narramore, recently also lost his battle to cancer earlier this year.

Again, I am determined to work hard to raise money and awareness for mens’ health issues. It’s funny…….the older you get, the more this shit hit’s home!

Then there’s mental health. Far too many people suffer in silence because they’re either too proud or embarrassed to talk. Far too many men take their own lives through depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc when all they need is someone to reach out to, or someone to reach out to them.

If you need to talk - check in with me. The kettle’s on.

Hey Jamie

Now the leaderboards have closed, I can confirm that you finished 4th out of all the sports fundraisers in 2022! Thank you so much for your amazing support.

I'll be in touch over the coming weeks to show our appreciation for all your hard work. But in the meantime, I hope you are having a well-deserved rest - you’ve earned it.

Mo wishes
Lauren

On Saturday 19th Movember, Mo Bros Rugby and Kew Occasionals will once again do battle in the name of men's health.

Last year's match ended 39-38 to the visiting team, so you know it's going to be another cracking competition this year. Come along to see highly skilled, moustachioed men chucking a rugby ball about, all in the name of men's health.
Kick off is 14:00 at Richmond Athletic Ground, with the bar open before, during and after! We will then pile into the clubhouse for the England vs. New Zealand game at 17:30, and party the night away…

A huge thanks to all our rugby Mo Bros & Mo Sisters who have raised over £100,000 this year. Epic! Where will your team finish in the league table?

On Saturday Mo Bros Rugby are playing a charity game down at Richmond. If you're in the area come on down.

It's mid-month and the Mos are coming through strong. Farnham RUFC lead the way in the Sports Challenge fundraising leaderboard as I write, but where do you feature?

Don't forget to thank your donors and give potential donors an extra incentive to donate; an example of a Movember funded project, a special thanks from you, or simply because of the terrible itch your moustache is giving you. Thanks sporting Mos, we are over £200,000 raised and going strong!
