My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

is to change the face of men's health. My father had prostate cancer but fortunately managed to beat it as it was diagnosed early. Thousands of men die each year from this disease and therefore we need to raise awareness!! Over the last couple of years, I've lost my Mum-in-law and a couple of good friends to cancer and therefore I dedicate this year's efforts to those that are sadly no longer with us.

I’m now sad to say I lost my father in March 2021 to cancer and it sucks. He was my mate, my mentor, my hero, but above all, my dad.

I also dedicate this year’s efforts to my uncle Bob, who unfortunately lost his battle with cancer earlier this year and my uncle Peter, who is still fighting his own battle with Cancer

I'm also sad to say that an old friend , Paul Narramore lost his battle to cancer last year.

Again, I am determined to work hard to raise money and awareness for mens’ health issues. It’s funny…….the older you get, the more this shit hit’s home!

Then there’s mental health. Far too many people suffer in silence because they’re either too proud or embarrassed to talk. Far too many men take their own lives through depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc when all they need is someone to reach out to, or someone to reach out to them.

If you need to talk - check in with me. The kettle’s on or The Settle Inn’s open!!

Twas the night before Movember, when all through the land,
Not a whisker was stirring, not one single strand.
The razors were readied by the sink with care,
In hopes that a smooth-to-be face would soon be there.
The Mo Bros and Sisters were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of Mo glory ran through their heads.

Yes folks, the hairiest month of the year begins TOMORROW!!

Hopefully all the plans for your team’s campaigns are in place, and if not – there is still time to recruit, make plans and build hype. Last year the sports challenge made a serious impact, and we’re gonna do it all again this year.

BE THE DIFFERENCE IN MOVEMBER 2024!

Last year's match ended 39-38 to the visiting team, so you know it's going to be another cracking competition this year. Come along to see highly skilled, moustachioed men chucking a rugby ball about, all in the name of men's health.
Kick off is 14:00 at Richmond Athletic Ground, with the bar open before, during and after! We will then pile into the clubhouse for the England vs. New Zealand game at 17:30, and party the night away…
