My third year a Mo-Bro!

Movember is very special to me. When I first saw the statistics I realised I was one of those blokes who could look after himself better. After being inspired to be more vigilant, I had some minor symptoms checked which I might otherwise have dismissed as 'it's nothing'. Then in July 2021, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer.

Thankfully I am now cancer free! Early detection gave our wonderful medical professionals a chance to help me. Fellas - never take anything for granted and always get checked.

Mentally it's been testing, and being comfortable to talk openly about my illness and feelings helped me to find extra positivity, determination and courage, and the support when I needed it most. Keep talking boys.....

The Movember community continues to push Men to better health, and If my story resonates with you then that is enough for me. I owe so much to Movember for simple awareness and education, however (I know its a time of great hardship), but if you would like to donate towards the incredible work Movember does for every Father, Son, Brother, Uncle then that would be so appreciated.
