Our Motivation

Feels a bit weird writing this because I am a pretty private person BUT...

In November, Millie & I are taking on a virtual cycle of 2,501km (roughly 83km per day throughout the month), from our home in Manchester to my dad's resting place in Brindisi, Italy.

Dad passed away back in 2019 and losing him has taught me about cancer and specific things I wasn't aware of about the disease. Also, about how bottling emotions up can affect your relationships with people closest to you.

This month isn't about the cycling, although, we are under no illusions that it is going to be tough. It is about raising as much awareness as possible about cancer & mental health.

Throughout November, I will be sharing some personal stories that only some of my closest friends and family know. It isn't something that comes naturally to me but if it can help 1 person, then it'll be worth it.
