Our Motivation

Every year, around 4,300 men in England and Wales take their own lives.
*That’s one man every two hours - fathers, brothers, sons, and friends gone too soon.*
Too many men still suffer in silence, feeling the pressure to stay strong instead of speaking up. But real strength comes from opening up and asking for help.

As first-year paramedic students, we see how vital mental health is - for our patients, our colleagues, and ourselves.

That’s why this Movember, we’re taking on a challenge close to our hearts. In November we’ll be climbing Snowdon, and at the summit performing *4,300* chest compressions - one for every man who lost his life to suicide this year. Each compression represents a life, a heartbeat, and a reminder that no one should face their struggles alone.
