Our Motivation

This Movember we’re growing Tashes for Tom. Tashes to remember Tom, Tashes to share, talk and keep Tom with us all, in between our whiskers and conversations.

Most don’t realise it but Human Papillomavirus (HPV) affects 4 in 5 men and women. 1 in 55 men will develop head and neck cancer. The uptake amongst boys in England is 70%. There has been 100% increase in the last 10 years. This is entirely avoidable, through vaccination! So let’s raise awareness and fight it!

Tom our brother and friend that HPV cancer took from us far too soon.

We’d done Movember here and there before not always fully committing, but usually showing up at Christmas with a dodgy tash which tickled us. This year, though, it means something more, let’s do it again but this time for Tom.

So Tom’s Tashes or Tashes for Tom, either or let’s get these whiskers growing so we can talk about Tom, share his story who tom was with all and raise sone funds throughout it all.

So here’s to Tom our brother, our friend, and a man who enjoyed a good mustache himself.
