Our Motivation

BTTC Infrastructure, is proud to support Movember in changing the face of men’s health. This November, we’re joining Movember to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.

Why We’re Participating:
The construction industry has some of the highest rates of mental health challenges of any sector. In the UK:

Male construction workers are 3 times more likely to die by suicide than the national average.

Over 50% of construction workers report experiencing mental health issues like stress, anxiety, or depression.

Long hours, job insecurity, physical demands, and a “tough it out” culture contribute to the silence around men’s health.

At BTTC, we believe it’s time to break that silence.
We’re participating in Movember to:

- Support our colleagues—both on-site and off—who may be facing health challenges.
- Start conversations about mental health and wellbeing across our workforce.
- Raise funds for life-saving research and community health initiatives.
- Show solidarity as a company that prioritises both physical and mental safety.

How We’ll Get Involved:

Grow a Mo – Let the ’staches shine in solidarity.

Move for Movember – Walk, run, or cycle in support.

Fundraise Together – Collaborate across teams, raise awareness, and share our stories.

Call to Action:
We encourage every BTTC team member to take part—whether by growing a moustache, moving for a cause, or supporting someone who does. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on men’s health and strengthen the culture of care within our organisation.
