Manc Mo Bro Warriors

£0

Target: £8,000
Amount raised last year: £1,426
Our Motivation

We are taking part in Movember to support the campaign for better mental health and prevent suicide alongside the partner campaign for Prostate cancer. We are growing our Mo's to support men (and women) that have struggled and to show peer support for each other in what can be at times a very frazzled world. In this month we raise money for Movember, but we are then going on to cycle in Yorkshire to raise further funds for men's mental health.

Finally, as team leader my own motivation is to remember with a smile and a grin my lovely friend Vic Wonders who sadly died on Nov 2nd through suicide two years ago. In recruiting this team including her Dad we hope to raise money but also positively challenge the stigma around suicide.

0 / 60 kilometres
We are cycling, swimming, walking and or running to raise profile of the issue of suicide and remember several friends who have died this year. Stigma still surrounds this hidden topic
