Our Motivation

Movember 2025 at Ashford McArthurGlen

This year at Ashford McArthurGlen, we’re proud to once again support Movember — the leading charity changing the face of men’s health.

Movember focuses on key areas of men’s health, including mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Since 2003, Movember has funded over 1,250 projects worldwide, transforming men’s health research and improving how services support men in need.

The mission remains as vital as ever: on average, men live 4.5 years less than women, often due to preventable causes. Around 10.8 million men worldwide face a prostate cancer diagnosis, and testicular cancer remains the most common cancer among young men. Tragically, a man dies by suicide every minute — that’s 60 men every hour.

Our 2025 Campaign

This year, we’re taking things up a gear — literally!

We’ve partnered with Anytime Fitness once again, who have kindly provided two exercise bikes for this year’s challenge. One will be based in Guest Services, while the second will travel between 15 participating brands across the centre, including Sweaty Betty, The North Face, AllSaints, Under Armour, Levi’s, Nike, Adidas, HUGO, BOSS, and more.

Throughout November, our centre team and brand partners will take turns cycling to raise funds and awareness — aiming to collectively complete 60 km, symbolising the 60 men lost to suicide every hour.

We’ll also host a Team Cycling Day on Monday 10th November, bringing everyone together to take turns on the Guest Services bike. Our Movement Team Leader, Lee, will be cycling 60 km in one go on Wednesday 12th November, with other team members (and brand partners!) taking on their own endurance challenges throughout the month.

Of course, Movember isn’t just about movement — we’ll also be growing moustaches, starting conversations, and encouraging donations to make a real difference.
