Our Motivation

Following the recent loss of our best friend, raising support and awareness for young men with mental health issues suddenly became so much more important. He was a big advocate for Movember, and put us more follicle-y challenged individuals to shame. Those that can will be growing as much face fungus as they can, those that can’t will run 60km in honour of the 60 suicide that occur every HOUR. This one is for Alasdair ❤️

Alasdair was one of the smartest, funniest and kindest students I have taught in over 30 years. His his untimely death is such a tragic loss and one that proves that poor mental health can affect absolutely anyone. I have such fond memories of the clever way he brought humour into every situation, both as a young teenager and later as a member of my sixth form tutor group. It is typical of Alasdair that he would choose to support such a worthy cause and I am pleased to be able to make this donation in his memory.
