Well, it's all over. Quite the ridiculous thing to do, all in all.

A mental challenge as well as a physical one for sure. Putting the big numbers in each day was mentally laborious, as well as a few intense choices of how to approach.

Particularly proud of the 1k in a day, 50 Burpees every 30 mins for 10 hours. Whilst I didn't manage it without a gap, albeit only 2.5 mins ish, the 2 sets of 400 where insanely rewarding and brutal.

50 Burpees every 30 minutes today. Goal was to just hit my 500 daily target.

I then realised if I got to 850 it would give me a round 1500 left. Felt like a challenge and a good place to be. So, had at it, got it. Nice.

My partner then asked if I was going for 1000.... Seemed really daft not too. So 10 hours, all in, later... We have 1,000 Burpees in one day.

Brutal? Yes. Worth it? Probably not.

BUT, think of the glory!

No one cares.

ANYWAY, reckon I only have 3 days of work left now and this is done. I am so happy I may cry.

2/3 of the way there now, feels like it's in the bag .... however complacency can be a killer in a big challenge like this.

Keeping the tracking going for accountability has been key to keeping me on track. Plus all the folks watching me complete sets on the floor at work next to my incredibly patient boss, who already weathers a lot!

Managed to drop a tiny bit of weight I put back on too, not bad for sinking a Chinese 2 nights in a row....

It's official, half way there. And a day early at that. One of the biggest mental hurdles is over. Now just gotta stick at it and not give up.

Ps. I'm absolutely sick of burpees. Send cash. And positive vibes. But mainly the cash.

It just goes to show, if you work hard, if you put your mind as well as your body into it, if you TRULY give it your all....

You can eat more than you burn.

Even when you're putting down an obnoxious amount of burpees.

Never give up. #pastaislife
