Our Motivation

Me and my good friend Ben are growing a pair of sumptuous 'stashes to raise money to support prostate cancer research as well as men’s mental health and suicide prevention in the UK. Money will go towards:
- The research and development of new prostate cancer medicines for patients
- Support measures focusing on suicide prevention, early intervention and positive mental health promotion.

Prostate cancer remains the most common cancer for men and the second biggest cancer killer for men in the UK. Additionally there is an unmet need in the UK with regards to men's mental health support services, with suicides remaining the biggest killer of men under the age of 45. Although not all suicides are directly mental health related, a significant proportion of men who take their own life had asked for mental health support within the last 12 months - highlighting a need for improved support services. With the demand on these services rising, donations to this cause are now even more crucial.
