Our Motivation

Strategy&-ers,

As consultants, we tend to be quite opinionated, and are rightfully vocal with our opinions. It's in everything we do, whether that's having tough conversations with clients or sharing provocative viewpoints through our thought leadership.

However, when it comes to how we're feeling (our mental and physical health), we tend to be far more hesitant in speaking out. This is a particular issue among men, where suicide rates are seriously high:
Globally, every minute, a man dies by suicide and in the UK, 75% of suicides are men.

We’re also raising money for testicular and prostate cancers, which affect young men in particular:
In the UK, testicular cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in young men.

With Movember in the office, we hope that we can provide a context for all of us in the office to have more candid, honest and open conversations that will hopefully help us all to feel a little more appreciated and part of a stronger community.
