£0

Target: £500
raised £5,477 since 2012
My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

This Movember I'm thinking of a former work colleague who had some very dark thoughts this year but now sees a future. I'm thinking of someone I mentored when he was jobless some years ago. Sadly he took his life this year - could I have done more back then? I'm thinking about the recent and unexpected death of a fellow member of my local Men's Shed - 80 years old with still lots to give. I'm thinking of three friends - three widowers coming to terms with their losses years later. And I'm thinking how lucky I am.

Wow - November and Movember went out on a high - such generosity to take me well beyond my £500 target. A BIG thank you to all those who have supported my efforts in so many ways (including my wife being willing to take silly photos...)

Look what arrived in the post last week - the pin badge not the mo... It's thanks to your generosity that I get to wear the Movember badge of pride - thank you all for your generosity. Less than £40 to reach my £500 target for 2023 - exciting eh?

Great shout-out for my mo-bile mo with QR code at Wimpole parkrun on Saturday - thank you Christian. Despite appearances, we weren't the only parkrunners there...!

Day 10 - what do you think?
Movember tell me I've raised £5,001 over the past 10 years - but don't let that stop you adding to the total (and many thanks if you've done so already)!

108 Week(s) Ago

Movember HQ tell me I've raised £4,800 over 10 years of mo-growing. Not a massive amount I know, but I'm so grateful to friends and family who have been pestered into donating over the years. If I can just make it to £5000 by the end of this Movember, I'll be a happy man. Thank you

This is the inspiration behind this year's silly mo - the new logo for the organisation that employs me to support long term unemployed people (men and women) into work. Mental ill-health is often a barrier
