Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer

To boost awareness of, and funds for, men's health issues, specifically initiatives to improve support of men undergoing prostate cancer treatment and its effects on sexual function. Background: Globally, more than 1.4M men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. In the UK alone, one man dies from prostate cancer every 45 minutes. Movember is working to reduce the number of prostate cancer deaths, support the millions of men undergoing prostate cancer treatment, and raise awareness of the need for screening and testing. There is one aspect of that support which medical and government institutions are seriously under-delivering: the impact on sexual function of the main prostate cancer treatments: surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and androgen deprivation therapy. For example, the last of these, ADT, may have to be endured for up to two years, during which time the patient's quality of life and ability to function may be seriously impaired, including sexual function. Awareness of, and support for, this aspect of prostate cancer, urgently needs to be increased.
