My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

Having donned a tasche for the last two years I realised it didn’t resemble much of a ‘challenge’ to face head-on the grooming involved in Movember for a charitable cause, as I now confidently and shamelessly tackle that task week-in week-out.

However what I did realise (in the few precious moments I do get between the long hours manicuring the moustache) was that the purpose of Movember - of helping make healthier men through tackling mental health, suicide, prostate cancer and testicular cancer - was one I feel very passionately about.

Personally from a mental health standpoint its been a tough few years for various reasons and suffice to say that help has been available and talking was equally the hardest and most valuable exercise.

So instead of a tasche, in order to convince you to part with some of your hard earned money I’m going to take on a physical challenge throughout the month of November aiming to raise over £2,000 by cycling (probably just) over 1,000 miles on an indoor exercise bike, which I’ll use to audit the miles (and the pain).

This is going to mean cycling for around 48 hours across the whole month and so fitting this in around the day job and a bustling social calendar will be as challenging as the physical drain on my far from Olympic physique! (Ok, well the day job part is true )

* I can also guarantee that the entire challenge will be completed with a tasche attached to my person at all times.

I’ll give weekly updates on progress both in terms of distance and also allowing you to hear in no uncertain terms how bloody knackering it is!
