My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

We are raising funds in memory of Shaun for the Movember charity.

Shaun was someone who lived life with real energy and courage. He loved adventure and was always chasing the next challenge — whether that was skydiving, wakeboarding, snowboarding, skiing, cycling, or pushing himself through Ironman and triathlon events. He also never said no to a well-earned beer afterwards, usually with a big smile and a good story to go with it.

Shaun was deeply loved by his family and friends, and his loss has left an unimaginable gap in our lives. He took his own life, and in remembering him, we want to raise awareness around men’s mental health and suicide prevention.

We want this fundraiser to help send a simple but important message: men are not alone, and it is always okay to talk. Too many people struggle in silence, and organisations like Movember work to change that by encouraging openness, connection, and support.

If Shaun’s story can help even one person feel able to reach out, speak up, or realise they don’t have to face things alone, then that will be part of his legacy.
