My motivation

On May 1st, 2026, Bradley and I will set off from the south coast of England on a 500-mile trek to the summit of Ben Nevis — the highest point in the UK.

This isn’t just a walk.
It’s a statement.

It’s a journey that mirrors the one so many face every day — the long, lonely, and often invisible climb from deep lows to hard-fought highs.

But this walk isn’t only about the mountains we see.
It’s about the battles many fight silently — with their mental health and with cancer.

Why We’re Doing This

Over the years, we’ve faced our own battles with mental health.

Quiet struggles.
Dark moments.
The kind most people never see.

We know what it feels like to be stuck at the bottom, unsure how to begin climbing out.

We’ve also seen first-hand how cancer impacts lives — fathers, brothers, friends. The strength it demands. The fear it brings. The families it changes forever.

And we’ve seen too many men not make it.

Men lost to suicide.
Men lost to cancer.
Men who felt they had to stay silent.

That silence needs to end.

The Mission

This 500-mile trek is for every man who’s ever felt like he has to hide his pain.

We are walking to raise awareness and funds for Movember — an organisation doing life-changing work in:
• Men’s mental health
• Suicide prevention
• Prostate cancer
• Testicular cancer

Movember funds critical research, support services, and early detection programmes — helping men live longer, healthier lives.

It’s time to make it okay:
• To talk about mental health
• To check in with your mates
• To get tested
• To ask for help
• To fight for your health

What Your Support Means

Your donation — no matter the size — will directly support:
• Mental health resources tailored to men
• Suicide prevention programmes and crisis support
• Groundbreaking prostate and testicular cancer research
• Campaigns that encourage early detection and reduce stigma

Every mile walked represents someone fighting a battle.
Every pound raised helps save lives.

Follow the Journey

We will be documenting the entire 500-mile trek — the highs, the lows, the blisters, the setbacks — all of it.

Follow along on TikTok & Instagram: @SouthToSummit26

Because whether it’s mental health or cancer, the journey isn’t easy — but no one should have to walk it alone.

Please donate what you can.

Start a conversation.
Book that check-up.
Check in on your mate.

Let’s walk this journey together — from low to high — and show that strength isn’t silence.
