My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

Mens Mental Health is something I’ve always been aware of and passionately supported. It wasn’t until 12 months ago that it affected me personally, I found myself utterly lost and not wanting to “be here”! A phrase I’d heard before but now it was ringing through my own head. Would anyone notice or care, I’m sure they’d all be fine and their lives would be back to normal in no time, and I had made sure my wife and children would’ve been financially secure. I spiralled for several weeks and eventually landed in a place I’d never thought I’d even imagine I would. It really was rock bottom, I needed help but I didn’t want to ask, I was proud and I’m happy to admit I was also terrified of what people would think if I admitted I was really truly wanting to give up. Luckily with the support of my beautiful wife and children and some very close friends I reached out for help and found it. I learned to talk and open up, in doing so I started to feel a little lighter each day. It really was baby steps but I’m proud to say I made it. Many thousands of men do not though, and this is why I’m growing a ridiculous mo to try to raise a few pounds but also hope to reach any lost souls out there along the way and say to them, it can be okay, you just need to ask for help.
