My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer

My dad, aged 54, is a keen cyclist, cycling at least 100 miles per week to keep fit. Following losing a friend to prostate cancer in 2023 and hearing of Chris Hoy’s diagnosis, he requested a routine PSA test. In June 2025 he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and underwent a radical prostatectomy. He had absolutely no symptoms and appeared fit and healthy.

This is my motivation to raise money and awareness of this disease which affects so many men and often goes unnoticed until it is too late.

My dad is now on the road to recovery and once he is back to full fitness will be completing a charity bike ride to raise further funds and prostate awareness

My best friend George will also be joining me with the shave as his dad has also gone through cancer treatment. Me and George and George’s dad and my dad have been close friends since we were kids. This fundraising is so close to all of our hearts and we will smash this together
