My motivation

Hello and welcome to my 2025/26 Movember page!

As a lot of you may know, I’m someone that consistently advocates for speaking about, acting upon and striving towards better mental and physical health. This year has also been an incredibly tough year with many of the male members of close family and friends having suffered with various illnesses. I therefore am bringing to you my yearly Movember fundraiser - more action packed and tougher than ever.

On the agenda this time, to raise awareness for all of the men in our lives who might be struggling mentally or fighting with their own health, is a long list of challenges where I’ll be pushing my own mental and physical boundaries in order to raise money for what I believe to be an incredible cause that consistently helps so many, fuelling over 1300 men’s health projects.

On the 2025/26 calendar (leading to the final IRONMAN challenge):

- 3rd October 2025: Round the Isle of Wight Cycle with Old Marlburians (104km, 1,700m elevation)

- 12th October 2025: Royal Parks Half Marathon running on team Movember

- 18th October 2025: Ironman 70.3, Cascáis (1.9km swim, 90km bike, 21km run)

- 15th February 2026: Seville Marathon, Sub 3-hour attempt

- 25th April 2026: Somerset 100mile Sportive Cycle

- 17th May 2026: Hackney Half w/Movember

- 23rd May 2026: Cotswold 100mile Sportive Cycle

- 14th June 2026: Royal Windsor Olympic Triathlon

- 20th June 2026: Midnight Sun Marathon, Trømso

- 4th July 2026: Humber to Teesside ride with BP

- 12th July 2026: IRONMAN 70.3 Luxembourg

- 16th August 2026: IRONMAN Copenhagen (3.8km swim, 180km bike, marathon)

In the run up to my first Ironman 70.3 I have had to learn how to swim, (somewhat) voluntarily bankrupted myself getting into cycling and endured up to 17 hour training weeks on top of a full work (and now industry event) schedule to get prepared. The 70.3 has been the hardest thing I’ve had to prepare for so the full Ironman will be a true test.

In the essence of this, for those interested my Strava can be found here : https://strava.app.link/BO4cQDqnlXb and I have connected my garmin to my Movember page so you can follow along and see the endless hours of preparation this IRONMAN and all of 2026’s challenges is going to take.

Thank you for supporting me on this journey.
