In December 2024 I'll be taking on the challenge of running the entire length of Cyprus to raise money for men's mental health, through Movember.

360km+ over 1 week and becoming the first person to run the full length of the country. Mountains, beaches, off road, navigating around abandoned restricted cities- this run will be the challenge of my life...

Not only that but I will also be taking on New York Marathon in the build up.

Why am I bothering?

Growing up I was a very anxious, unathletic person. I was embarrassed by my identity, my ethnicity and mostly- my name. Going to school in the UK with a name like 'Hercules' wasn't exactly fun and eventually it led me down a bad path mentally.

Going into adulthood, I became very depressed, I even changed my name, I barely went outside, I became very unhealthy and was using whatever I could to cover up how I felt. I really saw no way out and lost all hope, to the point where I was ready to call it quits. I was totally lost.

For me, I was lucky enough to change my whole life through the act of movement. Not that running solved all my problems but it was the catalyst to start fixing things. My mental health, my business, my finances and all my broken relationships began to repair, the more I took care of myself and the more I moved.

I used to run from all my problems, I used to run away from mental health, but now I want to run for mental health. Roughly 100 men die everyday from suicide and that is why I am raising funds for Movember, so we can tackle this problem together.

So that's why I will be taking on this huge challenge to not just raise funds, but to prove to men out there that together we can change and together, we can achieve great things. Without the support I received in times of need, I wouldn't be where I am today, so I vouch to give that support back.
