My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

I have always been afraid to do Movember. I like having a beard. Since I was able to grow facial hair, I have had some form of facial feature and it has taken me a long time to become the handsome, bearded man you see today. There are some people that have never seen me without my beard, what will they think of me? The children that I teach, will they still respect me in the same way?

As my Bio says though, some things are bigger than a beard. 2023 has been a s*** show and has seen 2 of my nearest and dearest taken far too young. The loss of my good friend Mike and my father in law Paul have deeply affected me, my friends and my family and it is impossible to fill the voids that they have left behind. Life has not been the same and it never will.

Along with some good friends I have decided to give Movember a go. If me baring my chin and showing everyone what is beneath the fluff can do some good and raise some cash for anything, then I can’t think of a better charity for the money to go towards.

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help me stop men dying too young.
