Mental health and suicide prevention

I’ve recently struggled with my mental health and know many others who have too or still are. A student and friend of mine lost a loved one to suicide so want to do my part to raise awareness and raise money for charities who’s mission is to support men struggling with their mental health.

Challenge 2 complete

275m / 902ft travelled in handstand walk. Blister on the balm but other than that I’m not in too many pieces. Everyone’s absolutely crushing it on the team, can’t wait to see more amazing activities being accomplished and see how far we can get by the end of the month

So I’ve been thinking about some Movember Challenges and considering it was a student that requested my help this year I decided to keep them Capoeira based. So here’s what I’ll attempt this month to raise money for the Movember cause:

Week 1 - Tomorrow morning I’ll attempt to do as many cartwheels (Aus) as I can in 1 hr

Week 2 - I’ll attempt to cover as much distance as possible in an hour whilst handstand walking

Week 4 - I’ll attempt to do as many capoeira kicks as possible within one hour

Week 3 I have a lift comp and I have some plans at the end of the month for one last push to raise money.

I’ll post videos/photos of my challenges as they occur and announce when I will begin my next challenges. In the mean time keep your eyes peeled tomorrow for the first challenge.
