My motivation

Wow wow wow!! Another fricken challenge to help tackle men’s mental health!! This time I’ll be running Berlin Marathon on September the 21st!!

Supporting men's mental health and suicide prevention is something very near and dear. I lost my Dad to suicide when I was 9 years old, something so preventable. I remember him as a very happy, loving and generous man. As a true Scotsman, he was very proud, maybe too proud. His suicide came as a massive shock to our family and It wasn't until I was older that I understood how preventable suicide can be.

I’m running to raise awareness and support those fathers, partners, brothers and friends who are facing hardship and health crisis and struggle to reach out and open up about life's hardships.

We are honored to be running for Movember, a charity that has funded more than 1,250 mens health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, and shaking up mens health research, support services and treatment.
