My motivation

Our team captain, Michael Stead, was diagnosed in 2011 with testicular cancer. Thanks to awareness campaigns like Movember and amazing support and treatment from the NHS, he has since made a full recovery. Testicular cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in young men. Movember is working to halve the number of deaths from testicular cancer by 2030, and we want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

A group of us from DLA Piper in Birmingham are participating in Move for Movember: running / walking / cycling at least 60km each throughout the month of November - 1km for every man who loses their life to suicide every hour.

I am going to hit the 60km mark in any way I can and Tom is going for a total of 300km cycling for November!
