My motivation

Conquering Kilimanjaro for Men's Mental & Physical Health.

I'm taking on my third charity event which will be raising money for men's mental & physical health through the Movember charity organisation. I have chosen this charity as I believe that men's mental health is under constant pressure and male suicides are at a extremely worrying rate. Especially due to covid-19 as families have lost their jobs, social lives and some cases, their houses.

Unfortunately, I can imagine everyone will know of someone or has lost someone they know due to suicide, prostate or testicular cancer.
On average, 12-15 men commit suicide everyday in the UK & 32 men a day die due to prostate cancer. These numbers are truly horrific.

I want to do something that could potentially save someone's life and inspire others to pushing themselves out of their comfort zone.
By raising money to Movember, the money will go towards men's mental & physical heath. Nobody deserves to feel alone and depressed.
Together, we can save our dad's, uncles, brothers, grandads, nephews and mates.

So, I'm taking on the challenge of hiking Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa in January 2022. It is the tallest free standing mountain in the world. Summitting this mountain is no easy task, going upto just shy of 5900m above sea level in the matter of 8-9 days, will bring on extreme altitude sickness and exhaustion.
I will conquer this for all the lads out there that are having a dark day to prove we can do anything we put our mind to.

For every donation, I will fly a flag at the top with a lost loved ones name on, to shine their name and honour ontop the summit of the worlds tallest free standing mountain. I will do a post closer to the date obtaining these names.

for the largest single donation, they will get to choose what style & colour my moustache will be when I climb the mountain.... this offer excludes any offensive & racist gestures such as Hitlers infamous tosh etc.

So please, get behind me on this journey and donate whatever you can to help raise money for Movember,  and together, we will stand up to mental health & cancer.
I will be training regularly down @themuscledept in Kingswinford & out various hiking expeditions in preparation. Please feel free to approach me to talk about what's involved and what you can do to help.
