My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

"Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young."

Data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), found there were 5,691 suicides registered in 2019, with an age-standardised rate of 11 deaths per 100,000 population.

The ONS said men accounted for about three-quarters of suicide deaths registered in 2019, 4,303 compared with 1,388 women.

I haven't been clean shaven in over ten years, and my favourite band are "the Beards" who only sing songs about how great it is to have a beard. But, this seems like a good cause to raise awareness and raise some money.
