My motivation

I'm raising funds and awareness this Movember for the bros

Scotland has the highest suicide rate in the UK. 2019 figures show that men are three times more likely to complete suicide than females with the highest numbers being seen in the 35-44 age group. Middle aged men are also the least likely to seek help.

We dont know what the impact of the current pandemic on suicide will be but we know that referrals to mental health services are rising steeply and only time will tell what the true wider mental health impact will be.

The NHS does a lot, but we rely heavily on our third sector partners to help educate and support our clients and raise awareness.

This November im losing the beard and keeping the tache to raise funds and awareness for mental health and men's health, to remember those we've lost to suicide and remind the guys that are struggling that help is out there.

Speak up. Call a friend, call your GP, call Breathing Space. Call somebody.
Its ok to not be ok bro.
