Have you ever run for your life?

Hopefully not. We certainly haven’t, but this November we are going to be running two ultramarathons for the lives of plenty of men out there.

On both the 4th and 25th of November, we will be running 50 kilometres. 31.06 miles. Two ultramarathons in one month, raising crucial funds for Movember.

So why are we running?

Globally, 3 out of 4 suicides are men. On average, one man dies every minute from suicide. As a statistic, it’s terrifying. When it’s someone you love, it’s truly awful.

We’ve both lost people to suicide. People we remember with immense fondness: wide smiles, booming laughs, and a twinkle in their eyes. It’s gut-wrenching to think about how everything changed for them. This run helps to raise money for the charity that’s all about stopping men dying too soon, in their memory.

What can you do to help us?

1. Whack the 4th and 25th November in your diaries. We’re going to be running around various parks in London, and we’d love you to join — whether for 300 metres or 30 kilometres. We’ll be keeping it slow, so don’t worry if you’re not much of a runner. It’ll be a social affair — our one rule is no headphones as Movember is all about starting conversations, so we’ll be chatting the whole way through.

2. Donate! We’re not doing this for fun — it’s all about raising money for a cause that matters.

3. Spread the word. Share this page on your socials. Tell your mates about it. We want to make it biiiig.
Keep an eye on our Instagram, @movembultras. More content to come. We’re planning to give you a run for your money.

Hey you legends.

I wanted to publicly say a huge thank you for the amazing amount you have raised so far – you’re a Mo Legend and you’ve secured your spot in our exclusive Platinum Club 2023!

Thanks to you, more men can live healthier and longer lives. To read about some of the projects you’ve helped to fund go to movember.com/impact

You’ll get an email in December with details of how to claim your Platinum Club rewards and, in the meantime, I hope you have a great rest of the month.

United we Mo
Stef
