My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

I'm doing reverse Movember (shaving my eight year old moustache off) to raise money for the following charities in honour of John Kelly and to raise awarness of the John Kelly Fund. John is my good friend Charlotte's younger brother, who sadly killed himself a few weeks ago.

As someone who suffers from severe mental illnesses myself, it's a cause close to my heart. We're raising money for the following charities:

Black Dog Outdoors (@blackdogoutdoors) use the link between exercise and improved wellbeing to support people facing challenges with their mental health in getting outside, learning new skills and accessing activities and ways of moving that they would not previously have been accessible to them. (www.blackdogoutdoors.co.uk)

Climbing Alongside Mental Health (@cam_climbing) support Black Dog Outdoors in delivering their outdoor climbing workshops, but will also pay for people to try sessions at their local climbing wall, including the wall in Nottingham where John used to climb.
If you would like to read further research about the link between climbing and positive wellbeing, CAM also have some useful links on their website. (www.climbalongsidementalhealth.org)

The Tomorrow Project (@thetomorrowproject_uk) are a community based prevention, intervention and postvention service that offer support to people struggling with suicidal thoughts, and to families who have a lost someone to suicide. They are based in Nottingham by John’s first year halls, and we have experienced the important support that they provide. (www.thetomorrowproject.org.uk)

Yes I have a spot, but I have just had a clean shave and am here to remind you that my donations have slowed down and that this cause is extremely important, so please, please donate for my daft mo-less face if nothing else!

Happy (no) Movember!

The tache is gone! I've been told I look younger, better, worse and "like a different person". All I can say at this point is, my lips are very cold.

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
