My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Here in the UK, suicide is the single biggest killer of men under 45 and, on average, around 12 British men take their own lives every day. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence.

Having suffered from anxiety and depression myself, I know all too well how difficult it is to speak about your problems. I felt ashamed and embarrassed to speak to someone - I saw it as a sign of weakness. "Why do I need to go to a therapist? I'll be fine, I can handle it". How wrong was I? Thankfully, I found the courage to speak with friends and family, and I'm in a much better place. However, some men are not and continue to suffer in silence, and they need our help.

Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Please help me stop men dying too young.
