My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

I am a cancer survivor. I lost a testicle to cancer and unfortunately was left infertile as a result. For much of my life, being a biological father was my sole purpose. Although incredible for the longest time, surviving cancer wasn’t enough and I occupied a dark place.

It’s the through the love of others that I’ve found love for myself and meaning outside of myself. It’s through exercise and physical health I have found mental health.

Speaking about my experience has helped me but it’s also helping others, even helped a few young men to get checked for cancer early and save themselves much grief and worry.

Help me reach more, and continue to find meaning in raising money for the Movember Foundation and its incredible causes.

Hi James,

Thank you for signing up for Movember 2022, it’s great to have you back on board! Last year you were one of our Platinum Club legends and we can’t thank you enough for your amazing support.

Your fundraising means we were able to invest £5.7M million in Scaling What Works; a grant programme that aims to supercharge mental health initiatives that have shown real promise in improving mental health and wellbeing for young boys and men, across communities.

If there is anything we can do to help make this Movember a success, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I hope you have a great month!

I haven’t run in a while. This will be a good challenge. Swimming fitness is not running fitness. Bit of a shock but it’s all worth it.
