My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Unfortunately in today's society men have been brought up in a culture where it's not MANLY to speak about how you feel, its not STRONG or TOUGH to look for help.

In 2014, I lost one of my closest friends Jimmy, he decided that it his time with us was up and decided to take his own life. This deeply affected me and my close friends and its something to this day we still have to deal with. After his passing I vowed to myself to always talk when I'm feeling down and to make sure that I encourage close friends and family to do the same. There is nothing MANLY about staying silent.

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

This November I will be growing a MO and also completing the 60km for 60 men which represents the number of men who take there lives every hour around the world. Your donations will make a massive difference providing much needed support for those in need.

Please spare what you can and I will be donating 15% of my salary this month to the cause.

I wanted to get in touch again to say thank you for signing up for Movember 2021, it’s great to have you back! We really appreciate you joining us and captaining Hurstpierpoint College again.

Last year you raised an incredible amount and thanks to Mo legends like you, in 2020 we were able to invest over £66million AUD in our key investment areas of mental health and suicide prevention, prostate and testicular cancer research and survivorship and men’s health education and awareness.

You have helped us spread awareness both at the College and further afield and we can't thank you enough!
