My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Six years on, although time has made it easier, the daily absence of my dad is still deeply felt. There is so much I wish I could share and laugh with him about!

Movember gives me a meaningful way to honour his memory year after year—by raising vital awareness and funds for men’s mental health, to help ensure fewer families have to face this kind of loss too soon.

The statistics are stark: 60 men are lost globally to suicide every single hour. To visually mark this profound number, this year, myself, the team and the ginger tash will be embarking on a 60km ride in North London and mapping the number 60 on November 22nd.

Words cannot explain how much my dad meant to us, he was an incredible father and my best friend. My dad speaks for himself and for those who knew him, they will know how kind, loving and honest he was.

We have an amazing life because of his hard work and have so many fantastic memories of the laughter and joy he brought to this family.

We were so lucky to have had a father like you.

Unfortunately for my dad it was too late. I think if he had more of an understanding about mental health, shared his emotions more or been aware of the available services then he would be here today and without a doubt Movember is the leading charity to make this change to better men's health.

Personally I am not the best at sharing problems but now more than ever I realize the importance of talking to anyone and just supporting the people around you. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help me stop men dying too young.

Thank you for any donations, it means so much!

On the 22nd November 13 cyclists hit the streets of London and completed the 60km cycle in the shape of 60!
Torrential rain, buses, traffic, surprise mountain bikes and a puncture couldn't stop us!
This year we raised £2483. Which brings us to a total of £17,122 since 2019!
Thank you so much to everyone involved and thank you to everyone that donated. The support we get every year means so much to myself and my family and we can't wait for next year!

Movember Fantashtic Wakeboard!
On the 20th November, 10 beginner wakeboarders hit the cable in fancy dress to raise money for Movember.
The day was full of laughter, some big faceplants and some sore backs, but the footage is epic.
Dad would have loved this day just as much as we did and it would have been hilarious to see him in a costume too. A big thank you to everyone that joined in and came to support, this could't have happened without your help.

Hey Nick,
Anne-Cecile here, the Country Director for Movember UK. I wanted to get in touch personally to say how moving I've found your words and thank you on behalf of all of us at Movember for all you've done so far. I hope your event at work is goes well.

Because of you, we are able to change men’s lives by funding projects like changing rooms, to improve the mental wellbeing of men.

Thank you – keep up the great work!

Over half way through Movember and words cannot explain how grateful I am. It's helped knowing that I'm doing something in honour of my dad and making a difference - this wouldn't have happened without everyone's support! I want to message everyone individually but there are so many people to thank
It means so much to me, my family a lot to my dad. I am sure he is looking down and smiling seeing how much people cared for him and want to help make a difference
With your help I am gaining on my personal goal of £6000 and we have toppled our team's goal of £6000 which is going to fund life changing projects, research and support and awareness

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
