My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Hi, I’m Rob — and this Movember, I’m joining the fight for men’s health!

This Movember, I’ll be growing a Mo and taking on a challenge of running and walking 240 km throughout the month — that’s 60 km a week — in honour of the 60 men who lose their life to suicide every hour around the world.

It’s a heartbreaking statistic, and one that reminds me how important it is to keep the conversation going, to check in on each other, and to support men’s mental health.

Every kilometre and every hair on this moustache is for a cause that truly matters — helping Movember fund projects that support mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.

If you can, please support me by donating or simply sharing my page to help raise awareness. Together we can make a difference.

Men are often taught to manage quietly, power through, or downplay their struggles altogether. I see it all the time in the therapy office. Clients who’ve spent years in
high-functioning survival mode without realising how lonely or exhausted they’ve become. The truth is, asking for help is often the most courageous step in a man’s healing!

Hi Rob,

My name’s Owen, and I’m the CEO here at the Movember Foundation. I just wanted to get in touch personally to say congratulations and thank you, for kicking off your Movember in such a big way. £1,221 is fantastic!

To help you understand the impact of your efforts, our team have put together this video, it profiles some of the fantastic projects we’re currently funding here in the UK.

Keep up the great work, and if there’s anything at all that we can help you with please do get in touch with us at Mo HQ - info.uk@movember.com .

Mo on,
Owen
