Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention
Prostate cancer

It's been another couple of years since last doing this but this year I will again be squeezing out my lip hairs to raise awareness for Prostate Cancer and Mental Health, whilst aiming to look like one of the Beatles on Acid.

In Summer 2023 my dad was diagnosed with Prostate cancer (early enough to treat it successfully - but another member of the Lazenby line diagnosed with this cunt of a disease). Again I’m aiming to grow a moustache, using the power of my mind and top lip to look awesome in an era of naked top lips.

Whilst also raising awareness of prostate cancer I also want to get people talking about men’s mental health, working out how we can tackle the stigma, how we can be better mates for each other and talk about our feelings. Life can be amazing and it can be tough and sometimes it can be confusing and that’s ok, normal in fact - it’s best doing life with your friends and family and not alone - let’s make sure no one feels alone and isolated and ready to take on the challenges of the world with support around them.

So I'm growing my moustache for 30 days and I’m sure it will be super spectacular. If possible I’ll be channeling all my late 60s Beatles energy into making this a sgt pepper special, digging my Kaftan out and transcending to another plain.

Money is tight so understand if people are unable to give financially to the cause but please read more about prostate cancer, get a PCT test if you are eligible and talk to you mates to see if they’re ok, some will definitely want a hug, a pint or a psychedelic encounter of the scouse kind.

In all seriousness, prostate cancer is a killer, mental health is important and your knackers need feeling several times a day (I’m not offering - you can do that yourself).

I want to look my best for the arrival of the lizard people travelling on the mysterious 3i/atlas comet/spaceship/human farming factory and I feel like I will have the best chance of surviving an alien invasion whilst looking dapper by representing a beatle who’s just discovered LSD and colour TV, Beer will help the Mo grow - so help me feed it where you can so I can look fine - just saying.

Love ya x

Good effort Ben, seeing it (the ‘tache) in all its final glory today did remind me to put my hand hesitantly into my pocket ……
