Our Motivation

Managed Service Mo's

Three quarter of all suicides were male with a consistent trend, in 2022 this was 16.4 male suicides per 100,000 people! We have to join forces to combat the stigman and silence which prevents men from getting the help they need.

As an veteran myself and at this remembrance time of year, the numbers of death by suicide after the recent conflicts is heart breaking.

Please join me in raising awareness by sporting an extraordinary tache in November

Welcome back to some of the Mo's and welcome for the first time Mo's too! Its amazing to have you all onboard and grow the Managed Mo's from last years success. I am so passionate about trying to improve men's mental health and remove stigmas surrounding it.

Many of you know me as an Veteran myself how mental health plagues our veteran community and this is really brought home with this year being a decade since we left the Afghanistan conflict. I also volunteer for the local Mountain Rescue team and as a Search Dog Handler unfortunately do end up searching quite a bit for despondent casualties and sadly many suicides.

On a lighter note, lets try and recruit more Mo's to make this an ever expanding annual event to shine a light on issues.

Try post a before and after photo or even before mid and after should you want in readiness for 1st November.

Managed Mo Team, what can I say....its been a great honour to get funny looks throughout November in support of such an important cause. 3 in 4 Suicides are Men and this is only going to change by changing the way men think of Mental Fitness. Its been a pleasure and will be looking to set up a team next year. Poor mental health can and will impact everyone at some point and I will happy listen if you need. Thanks again, Paul.
