This November, the team are taking on an 4-day cycling challenge Hitchin to Amsterdam to honour the memory of our dear friend and raise awareness for men’s mental health.
We’ll set off on 18th November 2025, tackling over 350 miles (560 km) across the UK, France, Belgium and the Netherlands, finishing in Amsterdam on 21st November.
The Route:
Day 1 – 18/11: Hitchin → Dover ~ 120 miles (~200km)
Ferry across to Calais
Day 2 – 19/11: Calais → Brugge ~ 70 miles (~115km)
Day 3 – 20/11: Brugge → Breda ~ 100 miles (~160km)
Day 4 – 21/11: Breda → Amsterdam ~ 75 miles (~120km)
Who we are:
Three years ago, we lost our dear friend Adam Perry. He was generous, kind, a joker and a (very) competitive sportsman, so every year we play a football match in his name.
This year, however, we’re upping the ante, as he himself would have insisted!
The challenge we’re undertaking is a massive one. Pedalling nearly 400 miles, through 4 countries in 4 days, all whilst trying to withstand the weather of late November, Adam’s birthday.
It’s a challenge we’re sure Adam would have laughed at, presumably before setting off a day later just to see if he could still beat us there.
It’s going to be tough, but what Movember stands for, what people like our friend Adam went through, is tougher. We hope this ride will help to raise awareness for such an important cause.
