“Men are dying too young. We can’t afford to stay silent”

Globally, on average, 1 man dies every minute of every day as a result to suicide. This can’t be ignored and this has to improve.

As such, during the month of November my friends and I will be participating as a collective to raise funds and awareness for mental health and suicide prevention for the brilliant charity Movember! If you’re not aware, Movember is a leading charity in changing the face of men’s health on a global scale. It focuses on mental health/ suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men. Movember’s goal is to reduce the amount of men dying prematurely by 25% by 2030.

To raise funds and awareness we will be growing moustaches and sporting them throughout the month! To track our progress we will all be posting updates on our donation page and social media too.

Lastly, we value and appreciate any donation, no matter the size. It all goes to a great and much needed cause.
