Our Motivation

The TELL ME A TIME BLOG is raising funds and awareness this Movember for all the dads, brothers, sons and mates in our lives. We need your help. We will be moving and growing some facial hair to raise awareness for an important cause! Please donate and share to support men's health.

The TELL ME A TIME BLOG addresses mental health, talking with beautiful people and gathering stories and thoughts around human emotion. I recently reached a breaking point in my own mental health in May 2019 and have committed myself to getting better. Since 2019 the blog has turned into an international collective of like minded people sharing open and honest notes on any emotion important to themselves. In exchange for a note TELL ME A TIME makes a small donation to a relevant mental health charity. For every note added to the blog over November a small donation will be processed the Movemnber Campaign!

Hey!

Thank you for signing up for Movember 2022, it's awesome to have you back! Last year you were one of our top teams and we can’t thank you enough for your amazing support!

Your fundraising means we were able to invest £5.7M million in Scaling What Works; a grant fund that aims to supercharge mental health initiatives that have shown promise in improving mental health and wellbeing for young boys and men.  You can find out more about the 7 UK projects on our website.

If there is anything we can do to help make this Movember a success, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing a health crisis, yet it’s rarely talked about. Men are dying too young. We can’t afford to stay silent.

Mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer – we’re taking them all on. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

Despite an aversion to facial hair I have committed to growing a moustache during November.
I will walk 60km throughout the month. I will support other fund raising initiatives such as purchasing special packs of Chipp Coffee in association with Tell Me A Time, profits of which go to Movember.

Im really excited and pleased to have Rosie and Amy involved in Movember this year! I can't wait to see what they get up to - "We are taking on the “mosista” movement challenge which is to accumulate 60km of movement throughout the month for the 60 men who take their own lives every 60 minutes. Having previously suffered with my own mental health it is an issue I really care about and want to become less of a taboo conversation topic. When I previously struggled with my mental health reaching out and speaking to those around me that cared for me is what enabled me to get better."

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
