Our Motivation

The Iron Mo(ron)

On Saturday 4th November we will be rowing a marathon, running a marathon, and cycling 100km. Hosted at WIT fitness in London, a group of us will be completing the entire challenge each as well as a larger group joining to take part in their own challenges throughout the day.

This will be a mental and physical challenge, but it is for an incredible cause. Too many men are dying young and it needs to change. We are aiming to beat our total raised last year of £11,000.

Importantly, we will have each other to help support and pull us all through this challenge. We are always stronger together.

Movember is looking to reduce the number of men dying too young by 25% before 2030 and they can't do that without the support of fundraisers.

Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing a health crisis, yet it’s rarely talked about. Men are dying too young. We can’t afford to stay silent. We are the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. We know what works for men – and what doesn’t. Prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention – we’re taking them all on. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, and shaking up men’s health research.
