TEAM UK 60km in Movember
TEAM MEN

£193

Target: £1,000
Our Motivation

I’ve come to find that men, including myself, often neglect their physical and mental health until it's almost too late.

Movember provides a unique opportunity to break the silence and initiate conversations about these critical issues. Growing the iconic Mo and engaging in unconventional activities creates a platform for dialogue.

Through personal experience, I've discovered that once the conversation starts, men are willing to share – it's just getting that initial discussion going that can be challenging.

The running itself will be enjoyable and great training, but what truly matters is the awareness and funds raised for Movember's essential men's health initiatives.

As an incentive for donations, my company, APC Cardiovascular, pledges to match contributions pound for pound, up to a total of £1000 for all TEAM UK donations. This isn't about completing an extreme challenge; it is about supporting the incredible work Movember does.

The power of Movember lies in the camaraderie fostered through shared events. Participating in challenges with friends, not only forges connections but also uplifts spirits, creating the perfect opportunity to discuss men's health openly. The Movember culture is one of fun, support, and making a positive impact on serious issues.

As I look ahead to 2025, I'm excited about the prospect of contributing to Movember once again and fundraising with each TEAM UK member either running 60km and/or participating in the Mo'Running event on 16th November in Prestwich - https://www.mo-running.com/manchester.

We are committed to doing something impactful.

Join us in supporting Movember – let's make a difference in men's health together. Remember, it's not just about the Mo; it's about the conversations and the change we can inspire.
