Cardiff University Rugby Club

£2,253

Target: £40,000
Amount raised last year: £37,657
Our Motivation

This November, Cardiff University Rugby Football Club is back on the charge, aiming to raise £40,000 for men's health.

After raising £43,109 in 2024 and £38,297 last year, we're determined to make 2026 our biggest Movember yet. From climbing Snowdon in budgies and swimming the length of the Channel to ultra-triathlons and conquering the Three Peaks, the boys are taking on some ridiculous challenges to raise as much as possible.

We're also hosting the 5th Annual CURFC MoBall, one of the biggest sporting events on campus, embodying everything Movember is about: doing good, bringing people together and having a good time.

But behind the questionable moustaches and ridiculous challenges, there's a serious reason why we're doing this.

Men die, on average, around five years earlier than women, often for preventable reasons. As a men's rugby club, we're acutely aware of the challenges facing young men. This year, we're focusing on mental health and suicide prevention, breaking down the stigma around speaking up and reminding every Bro that they don't have to struggle alone.

Your donation could help save a father, a brother, a son or a mate. Please donate whatever you can and help us reach our £40,000 target. As we always say at CURFC, don't be tight — donate a pint! £3.50 can help make a real difference.

Keep an eye on our socials for updates, fundraising challenges and some truly questionable facial hair.

Let's smash £40,000. Let's look after our own. COME ON CURFC!
