Global celebrities from David Gandy to Ashley Roberts and Kate Thornton have donned Meitu's faux Mo through their MakeupPlus app this month in support of the Movember Foundation. Every time the app is installed, and each time the filter is used, a donation is made by Meitu to help stop men dying too young.
Laura Mair, Director of Partnerships says “This partnership is a fun way to spread awareness of a very serious issue – that men are dying too young, and something needs to be done about it. We hope that through showing people how they’ll look with a Mo they will be encouraged to spread the word and support the movement for men’s health, either by growing a real Mo, encouraging someone else in their life to do so or simply by donating to this important cause.”
