This Movember means something deeply personal to me.

This year has been full of change and emotion — I got married to the love of my life, but I also lost my sister and best friend far too soon. It’s been a reminder that life can be both beautiful and heartbreaking, sometimes all at once.

I’m taking part in Movember to honour those moments and the people behind them — to support men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and cancer awareness. But more than that, I’m doing it to remind myself and others that it’s okay to talk, to ask for help, and to lean on one another.

If my moustache starts even one honest conversation, or helps one person feel less alone, then it’s done its job.
