My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

This year the SHP team will be cultivating their Dalis, Chaplins and Freddies in honour of Movember, the global campaign which aims to increase awareness and raise money for issues surrounding men’s health.

Unlike physical illness, mental illness often goes unnoticed, with men less likely than women to seek help. We want to help remove the stigma surrounding mental illness so that those affected find it easier to speak out and get the support they need.
