OK, so it's the 1st October - 31 days till Movember - and I still haven't managed to get round to shaving since last Movember!
I have grown to love my beard, I am sure it loves me back - and there is still a moustache in there somewhere…
But alas, I know many of you thinks it makes me look like I don't have an owner. My own daughter now only refers to me only as Beardo and people keep giving me money for a cup of tea!
So now is the time for all you beard critics to get your hand in your pocket and see if you own a wallet. If you sponsor me for Movember I will have to shave the fuzz off my face to make way for the Mo!

It has been a hard Movember this year. A lot seems to have changed in just one month. I am sad to say that Ian Cox, one of my oldest and dearest friends, god parent to my children, lost his battle with cancer during Movember. I did think about dropping out because of this - but it would have felt like loosing another fight against that horrible disease.
The war against cancer must go on.
