My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

I’ve been doing this for a few years now, but this is the last time I’ll be asking for your support and, specifically, your money.
Five years ago I had treatment for throat cancer that seemed to have been eradicated but has returned with a vengeance in my lungs and pelvis. It’s not curable, and if I’m lucky I have a few months left in which to enjoy life and maybe do a little good in the process. That’s where you come in!
Movember raises funds to tackle men’s health issues, raising awareness, removing stigma, encouraging men to engage better and in a timely way with health services rather than be “brave” whilst actually suffering in lonely, frightened silence.
That’s not my personal story - I don’t have “male cancer” and haven’t hidden my symptoms or worries, I’ve just been a bit unlucky! The funds raised by Movember have a real impact across a range of serious issues affecting men and which are the cause of avoidable , premature death for far too many. Please help if you can. I can honestly say this is the last time I’ll ask, so let’s make this a good year!
